After its enormous success launching in the UK, Babylon Health is entering the Canadian market. It is launching in BC, locating their national head office in Vancouver, and will roll out to other provinces over the next year. The Medical Director, a part time role, is one of the three senior roles that will lead the Canadian business. The Medical Director will be responsible for leading clinical recruitment and training to ensure regulatory compliance and a high quality of service. Implementing Babylon Health’s global standards, the Medical Director will be a role model and mentor for the clinical workforce and will provide day-to-day advice and support, with overall responsibility for their quality of work. The ideal candidate is a licensed physician and practicing clinician, ideally with a background in Family Practice and an interest in health care technology and innovation. Experience that includes health technology and/or leadership gained serving on provincial/local committees plus a demonstrated ability to partner with a wide range of stakeholders is key. This is a business and clinical leadership role. Business acumen, strategy and visioning skills are all required. Located in Vancouver, this is a rare opportunity to join the burgeoning health technology sector and play a foundational role that will revolutionize health care delivery in Canada.
